You were the start of our love affair with Labrador Retrievers. Thank you 'Our Special Ginger Friend' for over 15 years of being such a special part of our family. We remember you with much love and you will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Oh dear, I'm a blubbering mess on the floor now... what a beautiful sentiment, I love the poem. My beloved "Blaze" will have been gone 9 years this October and I still miss him terribly.
ReplyDeleteMy dear friend "Jed" a staffy turns 9 next month and he is starting to go a little grey around the chops but is still pretty active when he feels like it. He just wants a more relaxed lifestyle now, lying in front of the fire snoring away, but is still very much food orientated. He makes me laugh everyday and we love him to bits.
